No. Williamsburg Memorial Park is open to the general public. There are no residency requirements, and everyone is welcome regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, or orientation.
What is an opening and closing fee?
This is actually called an interment fee. This is a fee for the time and work associated with the burial, as well as the filing of important documents and records.
What is the purpose of an outer burial container?
The outer burial container protects the casket. Plus, it prevents excessive cemetery ground sinking, which can occur over time if this item is not implemented.
Do you require an outer burial container?
Yes, burial containers are a park requirement, but we do offer several options for religions that require direct ground contact. Please consult one of our Family Service Counselors for more information.
