We encourage you to honor your friends and family with flowers and decorations, but we do ask that you follow these floral and decoration rules. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please contact us<\/a>. For your convenience, seasonal silk flowers<\/a> may be purchased at our Customer Care Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lot Modifications<\/strong>
Absolutely no lot modifications are permitted in Williamsburg Memorial Park. The only exception is our Private<\/a> and Family Estate<\/a> lots. Modifications to these areas are allowed, but only after you have received written permission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approved Decorations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The following decorations are permitted in all sections of our park. Please note that Williamsburg Memorial Park is not responsible for the security and\/or care of any decorative items placed at a gravesite or for replacing items taken or damaged. Expensive items and family heirlooms should be avoided. When handling bronze vases, gloves are recommended, as spiders and other insects will often nest in the underground compartment. Deer frequent our cemetery year-round and will graze on fresh flowers, so please keep that in mind when making your decorative selections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t

Restricted Decorations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The following decorations are NOT permitted in Williamsburg Memorial Park. Any restricted items will be removed immediately. We also reserve the right to remove any decorations we consider to be hazardous, offensive, or intrude on the personal rights of others. Please note that some items placed on bronze memorials can leave mineral deposits, which will erode the finish and void your\u00a0warranty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t

Cardboard<\/strong><\/td>Plain or gift wrapped boxes quickly deteriorate and create unsightly litter.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Ceramic<\/strong><\/td>See Breakable Items.

Coat Hangers<\/strong>
\n<\/td>		Or wire used to attach decorations to benches, markers, vases, trees, and landscaping is NOT allowed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Earthware<\/strong>
\n<\/td>		Is not allowed.
\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Flag Stands<\/strong>*
\n<\/td>		Flag stands are not permitted.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Food<\/strong><\/td>Food attracts unwanted insects and animals and the wrappers become litter.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Glass<\/strong><\/td>Is not allowed.
\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Landscaping<\/strong>*<\/td>All landscaping, including the planting of trees, shrubs, and flowers, is strictly prohibited.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Markers<\/strong>*
\n<\/td>		Except for estate lots, no paving, pebbling, or grading is allowed around a marker. However, granite and synthetic foundations (bases) are available for purchase at our Customer Care Center.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Metal Objects<\/strong>*
\n<\/td>		Metal objects can be become dangerous shrapnel when picked up up by our landscaping equipment, therefore ALL metal objects are strictly prohibited.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Mulching<\/strong>*<\/td>Mulching around bronze memorials and on burial rights is prohibited.
\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Trees<\/strong>*
\n<\/td>		The planting of trees and items secured to park trees is strictly prohibited.
\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Plastic<\/strong><\/td>Only unbreakable plastic items are allowed.
\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Porcelain<\/strong>
\n<\/td>		Is not allowed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Stakes<\/strong>*
\n
\n<\/td>		Anything that creates holes in the turf is strictly prohibited.
\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Wind Chimes<\/strong>*
\n<\/td>		Wind chimes are not permitted.
\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Wire<\/strong>
\n<\/td>		Wire stuck in the ground or used to attach decorations to gravesite markers, benches, vases, trees or
