Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our visitors, families, and staff. In an attempt to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus, and as outlined by Virginia Executive Order #68, we have made the following operational changes effective immediately.
Customer Care Center
Our administrative office is currently open for all essential services, but by appointment only. Everyone entering our office is required to wear a face mask. For all non-essential business, such as ordering flowers, maintenance requests, and help locating a gravesite, please call us at 757.565.2006 or use our 24/7 Contact Form.
Our cemetery grounds remain open to the public. All ground maintenance and park improvements will continue as planned. Face masks are not required, but we do recommend that you practice social distancing when appropriate.
Enhanced Cleaning Procedures
Per the CDC’s recommendations, we have increased the frequency of our cleaning procedures, which includes sanitizing surfaces with approved cleaners.
All annual community events and educational programs are canceled until further notice. This currently includes our Memorial Day Celebration, our 1K Run, and our New Lunch-N-Learn program. We will make a decision on our Annual Holiday Luminary sometime in November.
Our community mausoleum is now open to the public. Face coverings must be worn at all times and no more than 6 people are permitted in this facility at a time.
Interment & Memorial Services
We will continue to perform all scheduled interments as planned. However, in accordance with Virginia Executive Order #68, all memorial services are limited to no more than 250 people total.
Our public restrooms will remain closed until further notice.
